She works as a lecturer at Bahçeşehir University. In 2013, she completed her master's degree on Emotional Contagion in Teacher-Student Relationships at Marmara University. Between 2013 and 2016, she was the editor of IATEFL TEASIG Newsletter. She was the editor of IATEFL Learning Technologies Magazine between 2016 and 2019. In 2020,she completed doctorate program in the field of Educational Technologies at Bahcesehir University and in her doctoral dissertation, she studied " the influences of electronic book reading on reading comprehension skills, reading time, digital attitude, and reading motivation of sixth grade in English as a Foreign Language students at a state school in Istanbul, Turkey. She has given teacher training on various topics such as the use of technology in education, effective technology integration, distance education, online collaborative learning, and gamification since 2009. She has written two children's books named "Oyun Canavarı" and "Defne’nin Dijital Kimliği" on game addiction and internet security.
